These paintings mark an earlier chapter of my journey as a watercolour artist.

While my work has evolved towards quieter, more atmospheric Scottish landscapes, these originals remain an important part of that journey.  Many of them are animal studies, and they're where I truly fell in love with watercolour.

That doesn't mean I won't paint animals again in the future. After all, someone once told me, "Everyone loves a puffin."

What's not to love?

Once each original leaves the studio, it won't return to the Studio Archive.

Some of these paintings are also available as strictly limited giclée prints. Once the remaining prints have found new homes, they won't be printed again.
